Bitrix24 AMC and Support

A VortexWeb AMC keeps your Bitrix24 working after go-live under a published service level: critical incidents answered within one business hour and resolved or worked around the same day, unlimited configuration requests with no per-request charge, platform updates tested before they reach you, and a dedicated account manager. Delivered worldwide by a Bitrix24 Gold Partner, for systems VortexWeb built and for systems it did not.

What is a Bitrix24 AMC?

A Bitrix24 AMC, an annual maintenance contract, is a retained support agreement that covers your Bitrix24 after implementation: keeping it running, keeping it current, and changing it as the business changes, with response and resolution times you can hold the provider to.

An implementation gets a system live. An AMC keeps it alive. Bitrix24 updates regularly, integrations depend on third parties that change without notice, the business hires and restructures, and the process that was right at go-live drifts. Without someone owning that, a system that worked in month one is quietly broken by month nine and nobody is sure when it happened.

What service levels does VortexWeb commit to?

VortexWeb publishes its service levels. Every request is classified by severity on receipt, and each severity carries a response time and a resolution target measured from the moment the request is logged.

SeverityWhat it meansResponseResolution target
Critical (P1)Complete stoppage of business operations1 business hourSame business day: resolution or a working alternative
High (P2)A major function broken; business continues only partially4 business hoursWorking alternative within 1 business day; full resolution within 2 business days
Medium (P3)A single feature, user or record set affected; a workaround exists1 business day3 business days
Standard (P4)Change requests and enhancements within scope1 business day5 business days; larger items given a confirmed date in advance

are agreed in your contract against the time zone you operate in. Critical incidents are covered outside support hours, including weekends, with a two-hour response.

What counts as critical?

Critical means the business has stopped: the portal is inaccessible to all users, the server is down, there is a data loss event, nobody can log in, or lead intake has failed across every source at once.

is a major function down while the business limps on: a lead source integration stopped, automations not firing across a whole pipeline, an approval stage blocking every deal, a messaging or email integration down, or an entire team locked out of their dashboard.

What does a VortexWeb AMC include?

Every configuration change your Bitrix24 needs, with no per-request charge and no cap on the number of requests. The scope covers five areas.

Workflow and business process changes. New pipelines, stages, fields, permissions and automations. Lead distribution and routing rules: round-robin, no-contact timers, ageing and reassignment. Automation rules, robots and triggers, including per-campaign rules as campaigns launch. Day-to-day administration: users, roles, field labels, dropdown values, filters, list views, native reports and dashboards.

What is not included in an AMC?

Custom development is not included, and neither is anything that takes more than three working days of engineering effort for a single request. Both are scoped and quoted separately as projects, and VortexWeb tells you in writing before starting work if a request falls into that category.

That covers custom-coded applications, modules and dashboards, source-code customisation of the platform, and bespoke integrations that need new code. It also excludes third-party costs, which pass through at vendor pricing: the Bitrix24 licence, messaging and telephony subscriptions, email delivery, hosting.

The line is drawn there deliberately. It keeps the AMC predictable for you and sustainable for VortexWeb, and it means a quoted project is a quoted project rather than a surprise.

Does every business need an AMC?

No. Every VortexWeb implementation includes 90 days of post-launch monitoring, which covers the period where most issues surface. After that, some businesses self-manage well.

A retainer makes sense in four situations.

Configuration is stable across updates. Code is stable but not immune.

Should we hire a Bitrix24 administrator or take an AMC?

For most small and mid-sized businesses, an AMC wins on economics. A capable Bitrix24 administrator is a full-time salary. An AMC delivers senior, multi-specialist coverage, configuration, integration, development and platform knowledge, for a fraction of that.

In-house makes sense at genuine scale, when daily configuration change volume justifies a dedicated person. Even then, an AMC commonly sits behind them for escalation, custom development and platform updates that one administrator cannot cover alone. The monthly administrator enablement session in every VortexWeb AMC exists for exactly that: your person handles the routine, VortexWeb handles the rest.

What happens when Bitrix24 releases an update?

Under an AMC, updates are assessed before they reach you. VortexWeb reviews the release notes, tests the impact on your automations, integrations and custom development, takes a snapshot, and schedules the update in an agreed maintenance window.

Without that layer, updates land unannounced and occasionally break automation quietly. That is how portals degrade: not in one failure but in a series of small ones nobody connects to a platform change. Cloud portals update automatically. On-premise updates are planned and executed as maintenance events with a rollback point.

How does a VortexWeb AMC start?

Every AMC begins with a pilot month: full service from day one, plus a platform audit delivered as a written report with a prioritised fix list. Configuration inventory, automation health, integration status, backup and security condition, and for on-premise, the server-side state.

The report is yours to keep whatever you decide. Fix-list items within configuration scope are executed under the AMC. Items that are projects are quoted. After the pilot, you choose a commitment term: monthly, quarterly, half-yearly or annual, with the price per month falling as the term lengthens. Scope, service levels and account manager are identical on every term.

Can VortexWeb support a Bitrix24 someone else built?

Yes. VortexWeb takes on systems built by other partners, by internal teams, or by nobody in particular. The pilot month audit maps the configuration, integrations and customisations as they actually exist rather than as anyone remembers them, which is what lets the retainer that follows carry defined service levels.

On the way out, if you ever leave, VortexWeb hands over a change log of every material configuration change made, returns credentials, and provides configuration documentation, within ten business days. No lock-in.

How much does a Bitrix24 AMC cost?

An AMC is sized to your system: how many users, how many integrations, how much custom development, and whether it is cloud or on-premise. It is quoted with your implementation, or after the pilot month audit for a system VortexWeb did not build.

The commitment term moves the price per month. Monthly is the most flexible. Quarterly, half-yearly and annual terms carry increasing discounts, with annual the lowest monthly equivalent. Scope and service levels do not change with term.
